Job Description

Role Overview


The Telecaller/Admission Counselor will be responsible for managing incoming student inquiries, conducting follow-up calls, converting leads into admissions, and maintaining proper records of all communication. The candidate will also support the admin and counselling team with student coordination and basic documentation.



Key Responsibilities


Lead Management & Calling


Make outbound calls to prospective students and parents to share course details and admission process.


Handle incoming inquiry calls, provide accurate information, and guide students toward the next steps.


Conduct timely follow-ups on cold, warm, and hot leads to maximize conversions.


Maintain a strong conversion ratio from inquiry to admission.



Counselling & Follow-Up


Understand student requirements and suggest suitable courses/programs.


Schedule counseling sessions, campus visits, and meetings with senior counselors.


Maintain regular communication with leads via calls, WhatsApp, SMS & email.



Data & Reporting


Maintain lead records in CRM/LMS/Excel with proper follow-up remarks and status updates.


Share daily/weekly lead status and conversion reports with the sales manager.


Ensure database management and information accuracy at all times.



Coordination & Support


Coordinate with the admissions, marketing, and academic teams for smooth workflow.


Assist in student onboarding, document collection, and fee follow-up if required.


Support in organizing seminars, school/college visits, and marketing campaigns.




Required Skills & Qualifications


Minimum 1–3 years of experience in telecalling or counselling (education sector preferred).


Strong communication and convincing skills (Gujrati & Hindi required; English language is a plus).


Basic computer skills (MS Office, CRM, Google Sheets, WhatsApp Business).


Confident, persuasive, and pleasant personality.


Ability to work under minimal supervision.
