Tool and Die Maker

We are looking for an experienced Mould Process Planner for our injection mould manufacturing tool room. The candidate will be responsible for complete process planning of mould components from raw material to final fitting, with a strong focus on reducing rework, rejection, and lead time.

Key Responsibilities

Prepare complete manufacturing process plan for mould components (core, cavity, inserts, plates, sliders, lifters).

Decide operation sequence: VMC, Lathe, EDM, Grinding, Fitting.

Plan machining allowances (before & after heat treatment).

Select suitable machines, tools, electrodes, and fixtures.

Estimate operation-wise time and support production scheduling.

Coordinate with machining, EDM, and fitting teams for execution.

Identify risk areas in design or machining and suggest preventive actions.

Reduce rework, mismatch, flash, and dimensional issues through proper planning.

Required Skills & Experience

2+ years experience in Injection Mould Tool Room.

Strong knowledge of mould manufacturing processes.

Hands-on exposure to VMC, EDM (sinker), Lathe, Grinding, and Fitting.

Ability to read and understand 2D mould drawings clearly.

Practical knowledge of heat treatment allowances & tolerances.

Experience in multi-cavity moulds is an advantage.
