Job Description
- ob Responsibilities:Operate VMC (Vertical Machining Center) machines as per drawings and job cards.
- Perform job setup, tool setting, and offset entry.
- Read and understand engineering drawings and tolerances.
- Conduct first-piece inspection using measuring instruments (Vernier, Micrometer, Height Gauge).
- Monitor machine performance during production and ensure quality output.
- Maintain machine cleanliness and follow daily maintenance checklist.
- Follow safety rules, PPE usage, and workshop SOPs.
- Coordinate with supervisor and quality team for approvals and corrections.
- Skills & Requirements:Hands-on experience in VMC machine operation.
- Knowledge of cutting tools, feeds, speeds, and basic troubleshooting.
- Ability to read mechanical drawings and measurements.
- Basic understanding of quality control and production processes.
