Welder

Job Summary:

A Welder is responsible for joining metal parts using welding equipment and techniques such as MIG, TIG, or Arc welding. The role involves reading blueprints, preparing materials, and ensuring strong and accurate welds according to quality and safety standards.

• Key ResponsibilitiesPerform welding operations using MIG, TIG, Arc, or Gas welding techniques.
• Read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints.
• Prepare metal surfaces by cutting, grinding, and cleaning.
• Inspect welds to ensure strength, alignment, and quality standards.
• Operate and maintain welding equipment and tools.
• Follow workshop safety guidelines and PPE requirements.
• Repair metal structures, components, or machinery as needed.
• Work with fabrication team to complete production targets.
• Required SkillsKnowledge of different welding methods and metal types.
• Good hand-eye coordination and attention to detail.
• Basic knowledge of measuring tools and fabrication equipment.
• Understanding of workplace safety practices.

• QualificationsITI / Technical certification in Welding or Fabrication preferred.

• 1–3 years of welding experience
• Physical RequirementsAbility to stand for long hours.
• Capability to lift heavy materials when required.
• Comfortable working in workshop or industrial environments.
• PreferredExperience in fabrication shops, construction, or manufacturing industries.
