Responsibilities:

Financial Management:

• Oversee the entire financial operations of the company.
• Develop and maintain financial policies, procedures, and internal controls.
• Prepare and analyse financial reports, budgets, and forecasts.

Accounting:

• Manage day-to-day accounting activities, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger.
• Ensure accurate and timely recording of financial transactions.
• Reconcile bank statements and other financial records.
• Tax Compliance:
• Ensure compliance with all tax regulations and filing requirements.
• Coordinate with external auditors for statutory and internal audits.
• Stay updated on changes in tax laws and regulations.

Team Leadership:

• Supervise and mentor a team of accountants and finance professionals.
• Conduct regular performance reviews and provide constructive feedback.
• Foster a positive and collaborative work environment.
• Budgeting and Forecasting:
• Collaborate with department heads to create and manage annual budgets.
• Provide support in financial planning and forecasting activities.

Financial Analysis:

• Analyse financial data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
• Provide insights and recommendations to senior management for strategic decision-making.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's / Master’s degree in Accounting & Finance. Inter-CA will be an added advantage.
• Proven experience of a minimum of 5 years in a similar role.
• Strong knowledge of Indian accounting standards, tax regulations, and compliance requirements.
• Proficiency in accounting software Tally or equivalent) and MS Excel.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
