Architectural Draftsman

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Architectural Draftsman to support architects and engineers in the preparation, modification, and coordination of architectural and civil drawings in compliance with applicable development control regulations. The role involves assisting in statutory approvals and ensuring all drawings meet regulatory and zoning requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist architects and engineers in developing architectural and civil plans in accordance with applicable regulations such as UDCPR, MIDC CDCPR, CIDCO, NAINA, MMRDA, NMRDA, MSRDC, and other relevant authorities.
• Prepare, revise, and modify technical drawings as per statutory and regulatory norms.
• Support plan development for layout, building plans, and related approval drawings.
• Ensure compliance with zoning regulations, building bye-laws, and development control rules.
• Assist in preparation, coordination, and submission of documentation required for statutory approvals.
• Coordinate with architects, engineers, and consultants to incorporate design and regulatory inputs.
• Liaise with government authorities and approval agencies as required during the approval process.
• Utilize AutoCAD, SketchUp, and other drafting/design software efficiently to produce accurate drawings.

Qualifications & Skills

• Diploma in Architecture or ITI in Draftsmanship.
• 4–5 years of relevant experience in preparing architectural and civil drawings.
• Good working knowledge of development control regulations and approval processes.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp, and related drafting software.
• Ability to work collaboratively with architects, engineers, and government authorities.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple drawing revisions.
• Experience Minimum:
• 2 to 5 years of experience in architectural and civil drafting, preferably with exposure to statutory approvals.
