Job Description

Job Description: We are seeking a dynamic and experienced National Sales Manager to lead our sales division. This is a critical leadership role responsible for driving sales growth, developing market strategies, and managing a high-performing sales team. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of the cosmetic ingredients market in India, with a proven track record of building successful sales operations from the ground up.


Key Responsibilities

Strategic Sales Leadership: Develop and execute a comprehensive national sales strategy to achieve revenue targets and market share goals.

Team Management: Recruit, train, and mentor a team of sales professionals. Provide guidance, set performance metrics, and foster a culture of excellence and accountability.

Business Development: Identify and pursue new business opportunities with key clients, including large-scale cosmetic and personal care manufacturers across India.

Market Intelligence: Stay abreast of industry trends, competitor activities, and regulatory changes. Use this information to inform product development and sales strategies.

Key Account Management: Nurture and expand relationships with major clients, acting as a senior point of contact to ensure their needs are met.

Forecasting & Reporting: Oversee the sales pipeline, create accurate sales forecasts, and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) to the senior management team.

Budgeting: Manage the sales department budget, ensuring cost-effective operations while maximizing revenue.


Qualifications & Requirements

Education: Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Pharmacy, Business Administration, or a related field. A Master's degree is a plus.

Experience: A minimum of 8-10 years of progressive B2B sales experience, with at least 5 years in a leadership role within the cosmetic ingredients, specialty chemicals, or fine chemicals industry.


• Skills:

o Proven ability to build and lead a national sales team to achieve targets.

o Strong negotiation, presentation, and communication skills.

o In-depth knowledge of the Indian cosmetic market and its regulatory landscape.

o Excellent analytical and strategic planning abilities.

o Proficiency in CRM software.

o Willingness to travel extensively across India.
