Cafe Staff

We are looking for an energetic and customer-focused Cafe Staff to join the team at Selkie's. You will be the face of our cafe, helping guests enjoy our signature pastries, breads, and specialty beverages. If you love desserts & coffee, have a friendly smile, and enjoy a fast-paced environment, we want to meet you!

Key Responsibilities

• Customer Service: Greet guests warmly, explain our unique menu (like our Japanese Milk Bread and artisanal tarts), and take orders accurately.
• Beverage Crafting: Prepare high-quality coffee and specialty drinks. You will be trained to master our signature "St. Valentine’s Day Cold Brew" (using Blue Bottle base, dark chocolate ganache, and fresh strawberry puree).
• Food Support: Help in the preparation and beautiful presentation of light snacks and sandwiches.
• Maintenance: Keep the cafe, seating area, and workstation clean and hygienic at all times.
• Billing: Handle cash and digital payments using the POS system.

Requirements & Skills

• Communication: Must be able to speak or understand basic English and Hindi comfortably to interact with our Hiranandani Estate clientele.
• Detail-Oriented: Ability to follow precise recipes (like managing the "literal pinch" of sea salt in our signature cold brew).
• Punctuality: Reliable and able to work in shifts (including weekends).
• Attitude: A "can-do" spirit and a focus on hospitality.
