Job Description
- Key Responsibilities of a Site Engineer in Mivan ConstructionFormwork Planning & Execution
- Supervise the assembly, alignment, and dismantling of Mivan shuttering.
- Ensure proper placement of reinforcement before pouring concrete.
- Check verticality, alignment, and dimensions of walls, slabs, and beams.
- Quality Control
- Inspect formwork panels for damage or deformation before reuse.
- Monitor concrete pouring to avoid honeycombing, leakage, or segregation.
- Conduct cube tests and maintain records for strength verification.
- Safety & Compliance
- Enforce safety protocols during shuttering, concreting, and dismantling.
- Ensure scaffolding and working platforms are secure.
- Comply with building codes and project-specific standards.
- Coordination
- Liaise with project managers, architects, and contractors.
- Schedule work to align with project timelines.
- Coordinate manpower and material requirements.
- Technical Documentation
- Maintain daily progress reports, material consumption logs, and inspection records.
- Prepare bar bending schedules and ensure reinforcement accuracy.
- Document deviations and corrective actions.
- Skills RequiredStrong knowledge of Mivan formwork system and concrete technology.
- Ability to read and interpret structural drawings.
- Proficiency in site supervision and team management.
- Familiarity with safety standards and quality assurance practices.
- Problem-solving skills for on-site challenges like leakage, misalignment, or delays.
