**Fish Cutter – Job Description**

**Role Overview**

We are looking for a skilled Fish Cutter to join our store ops team. The candidate will be responsible for cleaning, cutting, and portioning fresh fish as per kitchen requirements, maintaining hygiene standards, and supporting daily operations.

**Key Responsibilities**

- Clean, gut, scale, and fillet fish as per order requirements

- Portion fish accurately to standard weights for consistent servings

- Inspect fish for freshness and quality; reject substandard stock

- Maintain cleanliness of the cutting station, tools, and cold storage

- Follow FSSAI food safety and hygiene guidelines at all times

- Coordinate with the store manager on daily fish requirements and westage management.

- Assist in receiving and storing fish deliveries

**Required Skills & Experience**

- Minimum 1–2 years of fish cutting experience (wet market, hotel, or restaurant kitchen)

- Proficient with filleting knives and fish-cutting tools

- Knowledge of common fish varieties ;Rawas, Surmai, Pomfret, Bangda, Prawns, etc.

- Basic understanding of food hygiene and packaging.

- Physically fit for standing and manual work throughout the shift

**Preferred Qualities**

- Prior experience in retail outlet in fish/nonveg items cutting.

- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

- Punctual, reliable, and team-oriented

**Working Hours:** 6 days/week | Shift-based

**Salary Range:** ₹20000 – ₹25,000/month (based on experience.
