Job Description

  • Providing hair services: Hairdressers provide a range of services, including cutting, coloring, styling, shampooing, and treating hair. They may also apply hair extensions and clean and style wigs and hair pieces. 
  • Advising clients: Hairdressers advise clients on suitable cuts, colors, treatments, and hair products. They may also analyze a client's hair and scalp condition and provide advice on beauty care treatments. 
  • Maintaining the salon: Hairdressers keep their station and the salon clean and sanitary. They may also maintain an inventory of hair care products. 
  • Building client relationships: Hairdressers build and maintain relationships with regular clients. They should have excellent customer service and communication skills. 
  • Staying up-to-date: Hairdressers stay up-to-date with the latest fashion trends, hairstyles, and products. 
  • Keeping appointments: Hairdressers keep appointments on schedule.
