Insurance Sales Executive

An insurance sales job involves selling insurance policies to individuals and businesses by assessing client needs, explaining policy options, and providing ongoing service. Key responsibilities include prospecting for new clients, generating leads, meeting sales targets, building customer relationships, and staying informed about industry trends and regulations. 

Key responsibilities

• Sales and prospecting: Identify potential clients through networking, cold calls, and referrals, and work to convert leads into customers. 
• Client needs assessment: Schedule meetings with clients to understand their financial situation, future goals, and risk exposure to recommend suitable coverage. 
• Policy explanation and sales: Explain the features, benefits, and terms of various insurance products (e.g., life, health, auto, home, commercial) and help clients choose the right policies. 
• Customer service: Provide ongoing support to existing clients, which includes answering questions, helping with claims, processing policy changes, and handling renewals. 
• Relationship management: Build and maintain long-term relationships with clients through regular contact and by providing excellent service. 
• Administrative tasks: Maintain accurate client records, prepare reports, and ensure compliance with state and company regulations. 
• Product and industry knowledge: Stay up-to-date on industry trends, new products, and changes in insurance laws and regulations.
