Legal Assistant

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct independent Title Search Reports (TSR) for residential, commercial, and industrial properties
• Examine and verify property title documents including Sale Deeds, Conveyance Deeds, Gift Deeds, Wills, Lease Deeds, and Partition Deeds
• Search and analyze sub-registrar records, revenue records, and court records
• Identify encumbrances, litigations, charges, liens, easements, and defects in title
• Prepare clear, precise, and legally sound TSRs and legal opinions
• Coordinate with clients, banks, financial institutions, and internal teams
• Assist in property due diligence, mortgage verification, and loan documentation
• Stay updated on real estate laws, stamp duty, registration rules, and local land laws

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Enrolled with the Bar Council of India
• Proven experience in TSR preparation and property due diligence
• Strong knowledge of property law, land laws, registration & stamp laws
• Ability to read and analyze land records, revenue extracts, and legal documents
• Excellent drafting and legal interpretation skills
• Attention to detail and strong analytical ability
• Good communication and client-handling skills
