The Quality Control (QC) Assistant reports to the Quality Control Manager and the responsibilities are: · Inspection of raw materials and packaging materials · Inspection of product at all the required stages in the production process. · Ensuring adequate control of non-conforming product. · Authorize despatch of finished product to the customer · Investigation of customer complaints regarding product quality · Appropriate storage of samples of raw materials and finished products for the required period · Monitoring of all QC processes · Analysis of data relating to products using suitable statistical techniques. · Ensuring calibration of Monitoring & Measuring Equipment in the laboratory · Ensuring the achievement of Quality objectives · Initiating and monitoring the implementation of corrective and preventive actions · Continual improvement of the QMS
