Assistant Technician

Job Summary:HandySquad is seeking skilled and reliable Assistant Technicians in Carpentry, Air Conditioning (AC), Plumbing, Fabrication, and Electrical work. The selected candidates will support senior technicians in installation, maintenance, and repair services while ensuring high-quality service delivery and customer satisfaction.

• Key Responsibilities:Assist senior technicians in daily service tasks across assigned trade.
• Perform basic installation, repair, and maintenance work.
• Handle tools and equipment safely and efficiently.
• Diagnose minor issues and report major problems to supervisors.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization at work sites.
• Follow safety guidelines and company protocols.
• Provide courteous and professional service to customers.
• Travel to customer locations as required.

Trade-Specific Responsibilities:

Carpentry:

• Assist in furniture assembly, repair, and installation.
• Measure, cut, and shape wood/materials.

AC Technician:

• Support installation, servicing, and gas refilling of AC units.
• Clean filters, coils, and check system performance.

Plumbing:

• Assist in pipe fitting, leak repairs, and fixture installation.
• Handle drainage and water supply systems.

Fabrication:

• Assist in metal cutting, welding, and structure assembly.
• Work with fabrication tools and machinery.

Electrical:

• Assist in wiring, fittings, and troubleshooting electrical issues.
• Install switches, lights, and basic electrical systems.
• Qualifications & Requirements: ITI / Diploma / Vocational training in relevant field preferred.
• Minimum 0–3 years of experience (freshers with training can apply).
• Basic knowledge of tools and safety practices.
• Physically fit and willing to travel locally.
• Good teamwork and communication skills.
• Customer service mindset.
