The opportunity

EY GDS Creative Center of Excellence (CoE) is an inhouse agency that helps EY teams build a better working world by delivering high-impact, high-quality and on–brand creative solutions. People in the CoE help create experiences that are not just creatively inspiring, but also strategically precise and deeply human — across multiple media platforms.

As a Supervising Associate — Art Director, you own the creative and visual direction and design for creative collaterals across multiple formats, ensuring that all creatives are on-brand, user-centric and aesthetically proficient. With a passion for problem-solving and creative strategy, you lead creative brainstorms with stakeholders and content and digital marketing teams to produce best-in-class creatives that intrinsically align with the EY brand and business objectives. With your impeccable aesthetic sense and design sensibility, you are a versatile and reliable leader who can elevate any creative conceptualization, storyboard or creative direction for projects across multiple channels.

 

Your key responsibilities

  • Provide creative leadership to the design teams to deliver a range of collaterals (i.e., brochures, placemats, illustration, layouts, infographics, on-screen presentations, proposals, microsites, motion graphic content and social media collaterals)
  • Produce strategically sound conceptual work and bring it to life through rapid prototyping and storyboard creation and all the way through post-production
  • Adhere to EY brand guidelines, meet, and exceed defined expectations in terms of aesthetics, quality, turnaround time, budget and efficiency
  • Stay up-to-date with current and future designs, web standards, concepts and industry trends and advocate the same to team members and customers
  • Provide creative and art direction support to the team, coordinate with team members and others to resolve issues, as necessary
  • Proactively identify opportunities to employ pop culture trends, creativity, executional approaches and techniques to create exceptional user experiences
  • Communicate effectively with various customers/customer groups while understanding design briefs and sharing ideas
  • Lead project discussions with customers with a customer-centric mindset
  • Provide unique and innovative design solutions to customers and convince them to make the right design choices
  • Mentor junior team members on best design practices
  • Prioritize deadlines and effectively manage multiple creative projects parallelly
  • Be a part and contribute towards various organizational initiatives

To qualify for the role, you must have

  • Bachelor’s degree or college diploma (preferably in Graphic Design or related discipline) *
  • Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Photoshop, and Adobe InDesign, Adobe DC and Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Word and Excel)
  • Experience across a range of digital, social, and integrated media
  • Knowledge of social platforms (Twitter, LinkedIn, Instagram, YouTube, Facebook, Pinterest etc.)
  • Strong visual design and creative thinking capability
  • At least 10 years of overall experience in a fast-paced global environment (team management experience mandatory)

 

Ideally, you’ll also have

  • Preferable knowledge of Adobe After effects, Premier Pro and motion graphics skills


Technologies and Tools

  • Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Photoshop, and Adobe InDesign, Adobe DC and Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Word and Excel)
