What you will do

• With limited oversight, use your experience and knowledge of testing and testability to influence better software design, promote proper engineering practice, bug prevention strategies, testability, accessibility, privacy, and other advanced quality concepts across solutions. 

• Develop test strategies, automate tests using test frameworks and write moderately complex code/scripts to test solutions, products and systems. 

• Monitor product development and usage at all levels with an eye for product quality. 

• Create test harnesses and infrastructure as necessary.

• Demonstrate an understanding of test methodologies, writing test plans, creating test cases and debugging.

• Cloud Certification Strongly Preferred

What Experience You Need

• Education: BS degree in Computer Science, related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.

• Core Experience: 2–5 years of experience in Software Engineering or Systems Engineering, with a strong focus on automation and infrastructure-as-code.

• Cloud Expertise: 1+ years of hands-on experience in Public Cloud (GCP preferred/AWS) focusing on scalability and reliability.

• Automation Tooling: Proficiency in Terraform for provisioning and Ansible or Chef for configuration management.

• Containerization: Hands-on experience with Docker and Kubernetes (GKE/EKS) in a production environment.

• Coding/Scripting: Strong proficiency in Python or Go, and shell scripting (Bash).

• CI/CD: Experience building and maintaining pipelines using tools like Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or Harness.

What Could Set You Apart

• Cloud Certification (Google Professional Cloud Architect or AWS Solutions Architect).

• Knowledge of monitoring and observability stacks (e.g., Dynatrace, Prometheus, Grafana).

• Understanding of security best practices within a DevSecOps framework.
