Service Engineer

Role Description:

Nexa Transmission LLP is seeking a skilled and dedicated Service Engineer to join our technical team. The selected candidate will be responsible for diagnosing, maintaining, and repairing complex industrial gearboxes and transmission equipment used in heavy industries such as steel, cement, mining, and power plants.

Key responsibilities include:

• Conducting detailed inspections and preventive maintenance of gearboxes and transmission systems
• Performing component replacements (bearings, gears, seals) and ensuring precision alignment
• Troubleshooting mechanical and electrical faults using advanced diagnostic tools
• Utilizing vibration monitoring equipment and precision measurement instruments for accurate servicing
• Preparing service reports, documentation, and ensuring compliance with quality standards
• Collaborating with clients to ensure reliable equipment operation and minimal downtime

Skills Required:

• Strong mechanical aptitude with expertise in industrial gearbox servicing
• Proficiency in precision measurement, alignment tools, and vibration monitoring equipment
• Knowledge of hydraulics and electrical systems
• Ability to interpret technical schematics and service manuals
• Effective communication and teamwork skills
