Job Summary:

We are seeking skilled Mechanical Engineers and Technicians with specialized knowledge in flotation systems and pulverizer machinery maintenance. The ideal candidates will be responsible for the inspection, repair, troubleshooting, and optimization of mechanical equipment used in mineral processing plants, with a focus on maximizing machinery efficiency and uptime.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform regular maintenance and repair of flotation cells, agitators, blowers, pumps, and related flotation system components.
• Conduct servicing and troubleshooting of pulverizer machines, mills, crushers, classifiers, and feeding systems.
• Carry out scheduled and preventive maintenance to minimize machinery downtime.
• Monitor equipment performance and identify issues such as vibration, wear, and misalignment.
• Maintain records of inspections, repairs, and preventive maintenance activities.
• Read and interpret mechanical drawings, technical manuals, and equipment specifications.
• Collaborate with the operations and process teams to support plant reliability and continuous improvement.
• Implement mechanical modifications to improve equipment performance and safety.
• Ensure compliance with safety protocols and industry standards during all maintenance activities.
• Support installation and commissioning of new equipment when required.

Requirements:

For Mechanical Engineers:

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• 3–7 years of hands-on experience with flotation and pulverizing equipment in a processing or mining environment.
• Strong knowledge of rotating equipment, hydraulic systems, gearboxes, and alignment techniques.
• Proficient in AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or other mechanical design software.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

For Mechanical Technicians:

• Diploma or technical certification in Mechanical Engineering Technology or equivalent.
• Minimum 2–5 years of experience in mechanical maintenance, preferably in mining or mineral processing.
• Skilled in mechanical fitting, welding, bearing replacement, shaft alignment, and pump maintenance.
• Experience working with flotation and pulverizer systems is essential.
• Ability to use hand tools, diagnostic equipment, and mechanical instruments.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in gold, copper, or coal processing plants.
• Knowledge of reliability-based maintenance (RBM), root cause analysis (RCA), and condition monitoring.
• Familiarity with SAP or other maintenance management systems (CMMS).
• Ability to work in remote sites or shift work if required.

Work Conditions:

• Plant-based role (may involve remote or site-based locations).
• Exposure to dusty, noisy, or wet environments; use of PPE required.
