Store Executive

Job Title: Store Executive for a Spinning mill at Tiruppur

Location: Tirupur, Tamil Nadu

Industry: Textile / Spinning Mill

Salary: Maximum gross Rs25,000/PM

Job Summary:The Store Executive is responsible for managing the inventory, receipt, storage, and issuance of materials required for spinning mill operations. The role ensures proper stock levels, accurate documentation, and efficient store management to support uninterrupted production.

• Key Responsibilities:Receive, inspect, and record incoming materials (cotton, yarn, spare parts etc.)
• Maintain proper storage and labeling of all inventory items
• Issue materials to production departments as per requisitions
• Monitor stock levels and ensure timely replenishment
• Maintain accurate records in ERP/manual registers
• Conduct regular physical stock verification and audits
• Coordinate with purchase and production departments
• Ensure proper documentation (GRN, issue slips, stock registers)
• Handle vendor deliveries and discrepancies
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the store area
• Ensure compliance with company policies and safety standards
• Required Skills:Strong knowledge of inventory and store management
• Basic understanding of textile/spinning mill materials
• Familiarity with ERP systems (SAP/Tally or similar)
• Good organizational and record-keeping skills
• Attention to detail and accuracy
• Basic computer knowledge (MS Excel, Word)
• Good communication and coordination skills

Qualifications:Any degree

• 2–5 years of experience in store/inventory management (textile industry preferred)
• Key Performance Indicators (KPIs):Inventory accuracy
• Stock availability and shortage control
• Timely material issuance
• Reduction in wastage/loss
• Audit compliance
