Medical Coder

Position: Medical Coding Trainee/Fresher/Experience

Location: Trichy-TN

Type: Full-time

Review and assign codes to medical diagnoses, procedures, and services using ICD-10, CPT, and HCPCS systems for billing and compliance.

Essential Qualifications:

Any Bachelor's/PG degree,

Bachelor's degree in Life Sciences, Nursing, Pharmacy, BPT, BSc Nursing, or related fields [ from prior].

Certification preferred: CPC-A, CCS, or equivalent from AAPC/AHIMA (entry-level accepted).

Medical coding certificate programs a plus.

Key Skills Required:

Strong knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, and physiology.

Familiarity with coding systems: ICD-10, CPT, HCPCS Level II.

Proficiency in MS Excel, data entry, and basic software; attention to detail and accuracy essential.

Preferred Traits

Excellent organizational skills, patience, and ethical standards.

Quick learner with problem-solving ability; bilingual skills advantageous.

No prior experience needed—on-the-job training provided.
