Hardware & Network Engineer

A Hardware & Networking Engineer is responsible for installing, configuring, and maintaining computer hardware, network systems, and related infrastructure to ensure smooth and secure operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Install, configure, and troubleshoot hardware (desktops, laptops, printers, servers)
• Set up and maintain LAN/WAN, routers, switches, and firewalls
• Monitor network performance and ensure system security
• Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and network issues
• Manage backups, updates, and system upgrades
• Provide technical support to users and resolve IT-related queries
• Maintain documentation of systems and network configurations

Required Skills:

• Knowledge of networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP)
• Hands-on experience with routers, switches, and firewalls
• Understanding of operating systems (Windows/Linux)
• Troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• Basic cybersecurity awareness

Qualification:

• Bachelor’s degree/Diploma in IT, Computer Science, or related field
• Certifications like CCNA, CompTIA A+ (preferred)
