Welder

Position Overview:

We are seeking a skilled GMAW (Gas Metal Arc Welding) Welder to join our fabrication team. The successful candidate will be responsible for welding and assembling metal components according to drawings, and project specifications, ensuring high-quality workmanship and adherence to safety and quality standards.

Key responsibilities:

Perform GMAW (MIG) welding on carbon steel, stainless steel, or aluminum materials as specified.

Read and interpret drawings, and welding symbols to determine job requirements.

Set up welding machines and select appropriate wire, gas, and voltage settings for the material and thickness.

Inspect and prepare materials to ensure clean and proper fit-up before welding.

Conduct visual inspections and quality checks on completed welds to meet company and industry standards.

Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet production deadlines and resolve fabrication issues.

Perform basic maintenance on welding equipment and report any malfunctions or defects.
