Sales Officer

Job Title:

Field Sales Officer – Home Loan / Loan Against Property (HL/LAP)

Department:

Retail Assets – HL / LAP

Reporting To:

Sales Manager / Branch Manager

Key Responsibilities:

Identify and source potential customers for Home Loans and Loan Against Property through field visits, cold calling, and lead generation activities.

Conduct field sales and customer meetings to explain loan products, eligibility criteria, documentation, and benefits.

Build and maintain relationships with connectors, DSA partners, builders, and real estate agents for continuous business inflow.

Achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets for HL/LAP disbursals.

Conduct preliminary credit assessment and collect all necessary documents for loan processing.

Coordinate with credit, operations, and legal teams for file processing and disbursal.

Ensure customer satisfaction through prompt service and after-sales support.

Adhere to compliance, KYC norms, and banking policies in all customer interactions.

Participate in on-ground marketing activities and local campaigns to promote bank products.

Good knowledge of home loan and mortgage loan products.

Strong sales and negotiation skills.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to work independently and meet targets under pressure.

Familiarity with the local market geography and potential customer segments.

Basic understanding of credit underwriting parameters.

Eligibility Criteria:

Education: Graduate (any stream); MBA preferred.

Experience: 1–5 years in retail loans / HL / LAP / mortgage sales, preferably from a bank or NBFC.

Language: Local language proficiency mandatory; English/Hindi desirable.

Driving License & Two-wheeler required.
