Service Technician

Job Summary:

The Installation & Service Technician will be responsible for installing, testing, commissioning, and maintaining security and automation systems, including CCTV Surveillance, Fire Alarm Systems, Access Control & Biometric Machines, and Public Address (PA) Systems at client sites.

Key Responsibilities:

Install and configure CCTV cameras, DVR/NVR systems, and ensure proper cabling, networking, and power connections.

Conduct installation and testing of Fire Alarm panels, detectors, MCPs, hooters, and sirens as per design and safety standards.

Perform installation and configuration of Access Control Systems, Biometric & Attendance Machines, including software setup.

Install and test PA (Public Address) systems, including amplifiers, speakers, and microphones.

Conduct routine maintenance, troubleshooting, and fault diagnosis for installed systems.

Coordinate with project managers for material planning and site readiness.

Ensure all work is performed following safety standards and manufacturer guidelines.

Prepare and maintain installation reports, service logs, and client handover documents.

Provide on-site support and client training on system operation when required.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

ITI / Diploma in Electrical, Electronics, or related field.

1–3 years of experience in security system installation and maintenance preferred.

Knowledge of networking (LAN, IP addressing, PoE switches).

Ability to read wiring diagrams and technical drawings.

Strong troubleshooting and communication skills.

Willingness to travel and work on-site as required
