Senior Civil Engineer

The Senior Civil Project Manager will be responsible for end-to-end execution, supervision, and management of urban/city road projects, ensuring timely completion, quality compliance, and adherence to government norms. The role involves client coordination, billing management, team leadership, and site execution control.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Project Execution & Management

Lead and manage urban road construction projects (city roads, drainage, footpaths, etc.)

Ensure execution as per approved drawings, DPR, and specifications

Monitor daily site activities and ensure project milestones are achieved

2. Supervision & Quality Control

Supervise all site operations including earthwork, subgrade, GSB, WMM, DBM, BC layers

Ensure strict adherence to quality standards and safety norms

Coordinate with QA/QC team for testing and approvals

3. Client Coordination

Act as a primary point of contact with government authorities / clients

Attend review meetings, inspections, and site visits

Ensure compliance with client requirements and contract conditions

4. Billing & Documentation

Prepare and verify RA Bills / Client Billing

Ensure proper measurement, BOQ tracking, and billing documentation

Coordinate with accounts for certification and payment follow-ups

5. Planning & Resource Management

Prepare project schedules and monitor progress (daily/weekly/monthly)

Manage manpower, machinery, and material planning

Ensure optimum utilization of resources

6. Team Leadership

Lead site engineers, supervisors, and contractors

Allocate tasks and ensure productivity at site

Conduct regular site meetings and reporting

7. Compliance & Reporting

Maintain all project records, reports, and documentation

Ensure compliance with government regulations and contractual obligations

Submit progress reports to management

Required Skills:

Strong knowledge of urban road construction techniques

Experience in government project handling

Expertise in client billing and BOQ management

Leadership and team management skills

Good communication and coordination abilities

Proficiency in MS Excel, project tracking tools
