Accountant

KEY RESPONSIBILITY:

An accountant is responsible for managing financial records, preparing financial statements, and ensuring compliance with tax regulations and accounting standards.

• Prepare and analyze financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cashflow statements to provide insights into the company's financial health. 
• Assist in the preparation of budgets and forecasts, monitoring expenditures and revenues to ensure financial goals are met. Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal tax regulations by preparing and filing tax returns accurately and on time. 
• Maintain the general ledger, manage all accounting transactions like invoicing, expenses reporting and payroll entries.
• Debtors & Creditors management. Record and maintain stock on a weekly basis.
• Conduct internal audits to assess the accuracy of financial records and identify areas for improvement. Reconcile bank statements and other financial documents to ensure accuracy and resolve discrepancies. Maintain accurate financial records by recording daily transactions and managing accounts payable and receivable. 
• Provide financial advice to management regarding cost reduction, revenue enhancement, and profit improvement strategies. 
• Must be Good in Accounting concepts
