Job Description
- Develop detailed 2D and 3D CAD models for components, dies, molds, jigs, fixtures, and assemblies.
- Prepare manufacturing and assembly drawings with full GD&T specifications.
- Modify and update existing designs based on customer feedback or engineering changes.
- Work with Tool Room and Production teams to ensure manufacturability and feasibility of designs.
- Conduct design analysis, simulation, and interference checks before finalizing drawings.
- Maintain and organize CAD files and documentation in a structured format.
- Support new product development and continuous improvement projects.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (R&D, QA, Production) to resolve design or fitment issues.
- Ensure all CAD designs comply with company standards, quality norms, and client specifications.
- Provide design inputs and technical support during prototype development and trials.
