Draftsman

Job Role & Responsibilities:

• Prepare 2D drawings, layouts, plans, and sectional details using AutoCAD or relevant drafting software.
• Convert design concepts, sketches, and site measurements into accurate technical drawings.
• Update and revise drawings as per client instructions, engineer/architect comments, or site modifications.
• Ensure all drawings comply with company standards, project specifications, and industry norms.
• Maintain drawing documentation, version control, and drawing registers.
• Coordinate with site engineers, architects, and project managers for clarification and required inputs.
• Prepare as-built drawings, shop drawings, and working drawings for execution.
• Assist in quantity take-off and BOQ preparation from drawings (if required).
• Check dimension accuracy, scale, and detailing before submission.
• Provide drawing support for tenders, approvals, and client presentations.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• ITI / Diploma in Draftsmanship or Civil / Mechanical or equivalent.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD (2D is mandatory, 3D is an advantage).
• Knowledge of civil/architectural/mechanical drawings (as per industry).
• Ability to understand structural, electrical, plumbing, and other service layouts (as required).
• Good attention to detail and accuracy in drafting.
• 1–3 years experience preferred (freshers with strong software skills may also apply).
