Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
- Blueprint Reading: Interpreting engineering drawings and technical schematics to understand measurements.
- Layout & Marking: Using chalk, scribers, and squares to mark cutting and bending lines on steel plates or pipes.
- Assembly: Joining metal parts using bolts, clamps, or tack welding to ensure the structure is aligned correctly.
- Dimensional Accuracy: Using tools like Vernier calipers, spirit levels, and tape measures to ensure the fit is perfect (within tolerance).
Essential Skills:
- Knowledge of fabrication symbols and geometry.
- Experience with power tools (drills, magnetic drills, saws).
- Strong physical stamina and attention to detail.
