Pre Delievery In Charge

Job SummaryThe Pre-Delivery In-Charge is responsible for ensuring that all BMW vehicles are thoroughly inspected, prepared, and delivered to customers in perfect condition, meeting BMW brand standards and quality guidelines. This role acts as the final quality gate before vehicle handover and coordinates between service, sales, logistics, and detailing teams.

• Key ResponsibilitiesVehicle Inspection & Quality ControlConduct detailed Pre-Delivery Inspections (PDI) as per BMW checklists and SOPs
• Verify vehicle specifications, features, accessories, and variant accuracy
• Identify, report, and ensure rectification of defects or damages before delivery
• Ensure compliance with BMW quality and safety standards
• Coordination & Process ManagementCoordinate with workshop, detailing, accessories, and logistics teams
• Schedule PDI activities to meet delivery timelines
• Maintain proper documentation for PDI, warranty, and delivery records
• Liaise with sales team for delivery planning and customer commitments
• Vehicle PreparationEnsure vehicles are cleaned, detailed, fueled/charged, and ready for delivery
• Confirm installation and functionality of accessories and optional equipment
• Oversee final presentation standards for BMW vehicle deliveries
• Documentation & ReportingMaintain PDI checklists, stock registers, and inspection reports
• Update vehicle status in dealer management systems
• Report recurring issues to service management and BMW representatives
• Customer & Brand ExperienceSupport sales team during vehicle handover when required
• Ensure vehicles reflect BMW’s premium brand image at delivery
• Handle escalations related to delivery quality issues
