Accountant/ Accounts Executive

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Accounts Executive to manage day-to-day accounting operations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for recording all purchase and sales transactions in Tally, handling vendor payments, managing bank-related activities, and assisting with tax-related compliance such as TDS. The candidate should also actively follow up on payments and support general financial operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Record purchase and sales entries in Tally ERP software accurately and timely.
• Prepare and maintain the vendor payment list and ensure payments are processed as per schedule.
• Perform bank-related tasks, including deposits, withdrawals, bank reconciliations, and documentation.
• Manage TDS deductions, filing, and ensure compliance with relevant statutory requirements.
• Conduct regular follow-ups for payments with customers and internal departments.
• Assist in maintaining proper records of invoices, receipts, and supporting documents.
• Coordinate with auditors and provide necessary documentation during audits.
• Maintain confidentiality and integrity of financial data.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Commerce or related field.
• 2–4 years of experience in accounting, preferably in a manufacturing or trading company.
• Proficiency in Tally ERP and MS Excel.
• Good understanding of TDS, GST, and other statutory requirements.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
