Assembly Technician

Job Summary:An Assembly Technician is responsible for assembling mechanical or electronic components, equipment, or products according to technical drawings, manuals, or standard operating procedures. The role requires precision, attention to detail, and the ability to use hand tools and machinery safely.

• Key Responsibilities:Assemble parts and components to build final products as per specifications.
• Read and interpret blueprints, diagrams, and work instructions.
• Inspect parts and components for quality before and after assembly.
• Use hand tools, power tools, and assembly equipment safely and efficiently.
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace.
• Identify and report assembly issues, defects, or malfunctions to the supervisor.
• Follow safety guidelines and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
• Perform basic testing and quality checks on finished assemblies.
• Complete daily production and quality reports accurately.
• Collaborate with team members and other departments for smooth workflow.
• Required Skills & Qualifications:High school diploma, ITI, or equivalent; vocational training is a plus.
• Previous experience in assembly or manufacturing preferred.
• Ability to read technical drawings and manuals.
• Familiarity with hand tools, measuring instruments, and assembly techniques.
• Good hand-eye coordination and attention to detail.
• Basic mechanical or electrical knowledge (if required by the product).
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
• Willingness to follow safety rules and quality standards.
