Job Description:
We are looking for a highly motivated and aggressive Sales & Marketing Executive to drive sales of interior Products & materials. The role demands strong market presence, continuous lead generation, and the ability to build and leverage professional relationships with architects, interior designers, contractors, and clients to meet and exceed sales targets.
Key Responsibilities:
- Actively research market trends, competitor (peer) product placement, pricing, schemes, and branding strategies.
- Stay continuously updated with market movements, new launches, and competing brands.
- Generate strong and qualified leads by directly educating architects, interior designers, builders, contractors, and end clients.
- Conduct daily field visits and personal meetings to build long-term PR and product recall.
- Promote laminates, boards, and surface products by explaining technical features, applications, advantages, and USPs.
- Push product specifications in ongoing and upcoming interior projects.
- Identify project opportunities and aggressively convert leads into orders.
- Follow up on inquiries, quotations, samples, mock ups, and approvals.
- Maintain a strong sales pipeline and meet monthly and quarterly sales targets.
- Collect market feedback and share insights with management for pricing, product development, and strategy.
- Coordinate with internal teams for order processing, dispatches, and payment follow-ups.
- Maintain accurate records of visits, leads, conversions, and collections.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Graduate / Diploma in any discipline (Civil / Interior / Marketing/ BBA/ MBA preferred).
- Fresher with strong sales drive or experienced candidates from building materials or interior products background.
- Proven ability or strong intent to work in target-based, field sales roles.
- Excellent communication, persuasion, and negotiation skills.
- High energy level, self-motivated, and result-oriented mindset.
- Willingness to extensively travel and engage with industry professionals.
Preferred Candidate Profile:
- Experience in sales of interior products & materials.
- Existing network of architects, interior designers, contractors, or dealers is a strong advantage.
- Ability to push specifications and convert design influence into confirmed sales.
- Aggressive approach toward market penetration and competitor displacement.
Performance Metrics:
- Number of daily/weekly market visits
