Job Description

Key responsibilities

  • Prospecting and lead generation: Identify new sales opportunities through market research and by building a pipeline of potential customers. 
  • Client relationship management: Build and maintain strong relationships with both new and existing clients to foster loyalty and repeat business. 
  • Sales activities: Conduct face-to-face meetings, present and demonstrate products or services, and handle customer inquiries and concerns. 
  • Negotiation and closing: Negotiate contracts and terms, such as price, to close sales deals that are favorable for both the client and the company. 
  • Reporting and analysis: Prepare reports on sales activities, performance, and market trends to inform future strategies. 
  • Territory management: Plan client visits and routes efficiently within the assigned territory. 

Qualifications and skills

  • Experience: Proven experience in field sales or a similar sales role. 
  • Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills are essential for presenting, negotiating, and building relationships. 
  • Negotiation: Strong negotiation skills are a must for closing deals and handling objections. 
  • Interpersonal skills: The ability to build and maintain strong relationships with a diverse range of customers. 
  • Knowledge: Excellent knowledge of the company's products and services, as well as industry trends. 
  • Self-motivation: The ability to work independently and stay motivated to achieve targets.
