CCTV Technician

Job Description:

The CCTV Technician is responsible for the installation, configuration, maintenance, and troubleshooting of CCTV surveillance systems to ensure proper security monitoring and system performance.

Key Responsibilities:

Install and configure CCTV cameras (analog, IP, PTZ) and DVR/NVR systems

Perform routine maintenance and system checks

Troubleshoot and repair CCTV and surveillance system issues

Run and manage cabling (LAN, coaxial, power cables)

Configure network settings for IP cameras and remote viewing

Ensure proper camera positioning and coverage

Maintain system documentation and service reports

Follow safety standards and company policies

Required Skills & Qualifications:

ITI / Diploma / Certification in Electronics, CCTV, or Security Systems (preferred)

Proven experience as a CCTV Technician

Knowledge of camera types, DVR/NVR, and networking basics

Ability to work at heights and on-site locations

Good problem-solving and communication skills

Experience:

1–3 years of experience in CCTV installation and maintenance
