Job Description

Position Overview:

A Customer Service Associate (CSA) in the retail industry is responsible for assisting customers, ensuring a smooth shopping experience, maintaining store standards, and supporting sales operations.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Greet customers and provide assistance in locating products.
2. Understand customer needs and offer suitable product suggestions.
3. Handle billing, cash/card transactions, and generate invoices.
4. Manage product display, shelf arrangement, and stock refilling.
5. Maintain cleanliness and overall store presentation.
6. Handle customer queries, complaints, and provide quick resolutions.
7. Check and monitor product expiry, pricing labels, and barcodes.
8. Coordinate with the store manager and team for daily operations.
9. Assist in stock receiving, counting, and inventory records.
10. Promote ongoing offers, loyalty programs, and new arrivals.

Skills & Requirements:

• Minimum qualification: 10th / 12th pass or Graduate
• Good communication & customer handling skills
• Basic knowledge of billing systems or POS machines
• Pleasant personality & positive attitude
• Ability to work in shifts and team environment

Work Environment & Reporting:

• Reports to: Store Manager / Floor Supervisor
• Work Location: Retail Store / Supermarket / Mall
• Working Hours: Shift-based, including weekends/festive hours
