Job Description
- Key Responsibilities:Pick up items / orders from the warehouse / store / restaurant.
- Deliver packages or food/items to customers in a safe, timely, and efficient manner.
- Plan the delivery route to optimize time and minimize delays.
- Handle loading and unloading of items carefully to avoid damage.
- Maintain communication with dispatch or support team to report delays or issues.
- Collect payment or signatures, if required, and issue receipt if needed.
- Use smartphone / delivery app to update delivery status (picked up / in transit / delivered).
- Follow traffic rules, safety protocols.
- Maintain the vehicle and gear—ensure it is clean, in good working condition.
- Provide courteous customer service—interact politely with customers.
