Design Engineer - Power Transformer

The opportunity

As a Transformer design Engineer specializing in Transformer Design at the Global Engineering Center in Vadodara, India, you’ll be part of a dynamic team that values innovation, diversity, and collaboration. The Transformers Business Unit is leading the way in energy transformation, delivering advanced solutions across a wide range of industries.

How you’ll make an impact

• The successful candidate will be the part of an International Design and Engineering Team specialized in Oil Type Power Transformer  design covering different countries.
• Responsible to perform internal design of the transformer including cleats and leads and or core, Active part and windings design according to factory limitation, guideline, and checklist
• Coordinating design activities within a worldwide factories network.
• Participation in internal design concept reviews.
• Demonstrated team building skills and networking skills, would be a preference.
• Ability to speak with and work together with the technical teams in different parts of the world.

Your background

• B.E / B. Tech Electrical /Mechanical Engineering.
• 8-12  year’s experience working in internal design of the transformer including cleats and leads and or core, Active part and windings for oil filled, Power Transformers manufacturing Industry.
• Candidates with higher/lower experience also to be considered.
• Knowledge on CAD software, 3D Modelling software like Creo would be advantageous.
• Experience in Simulation or software development would be advantageous.
• Experience on Microsoft office and tools.
• Ability to speak with and work together with the technical teams in different parts of the world.
• Demonstrated team building skills, would be a preference.
• Proficiency in both spoken & written English language is required.
