In Vadodara, a Food and Beverages (F&B) Manager is a senior leadership role responsible for the end-to-end management of a hotel’s dining and beverage operations. Core Responsibilities

  • Operational Management: Oversee daily F&B activities, including restaurant, bar, banquet, and room service operations.
  • Customer Service: Ensure high levels of internal and external customer service; handle guest complaints professionally to maintain the hotel's image.
  • Financial Control: Manage departmental budgets, monitor costs, control wastage, and implement strategies to maximize sales and revenue.
  • Menu & Inventory: Design menus in collaboration with the Executive Chef, manage raw material inventory, and coordinate with suppliers for quality sourcing.
  • Team Leadership: Recruit, train, and supervise F&B staff; establish KPIs and schedules to ensure operational efficiency.
  • Compliance & Hygiene: Ensure strict adherence to food safety standards, hygiene practices, and health regulations (such as FSSAI and HACCP). LinkedIn +9

Key Requirements & Qualifications

  • Experience: Typically requires 2–5 years of hospitality management experience for mid-level roles, while senior positions at larger hotels may require 10–20 years.
  • Education: A Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Hospitality Management or a related field is highly preferred.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in POS systems, restaurant management software, and MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
  • Interpersonal Skills: Strong leadership, communication, problem-solving, and organizational abilities are critical.
