Job Description:

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Interior Designer with at least 1 year of experience in commercial interior projects such as offices, retail spaces, corporate interiors, hospitality, or institutional projects. The candidate should have strong technical knowledge, cost estimation skills, and the ability to coordinate with vendors and site teams to ensure timely and accurate project execution.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare detailed working drawings for commercial interior projects, including layout plans, partitions, furniture details, ceiling plans, electrical coordination, and execution drawings.
• Develop and present concept designs and mood boards aligned with client branding, functional requirements, and commercial standards.
• Prepare BOQ (Bill of Quantities) and project cost estimations specific to commercial interiors.
• Assist in invoice preparation, billing documentation, and cost monitoring throughout the project lifecycle.
• Verify and cross-check vendor and contractor invoices against approved BOQs, work progress, and site measurements.
• Coordinate with vendors, contractors, consultants, and site teams to ensure design intent, quality, and timelines are met.
• Support procurement by assisting in material selection, specifications, and vendor comparisons.
• Maintain proper documentation for drawings, approvals, estimates, and billing records.
• Ensure compliance with commercial building standards, safety norms, and client guidelines.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Degree/Diploma in Interior Design or related field.
• Minimum 1 year of hands-on experience in commercial interior projects.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD (mandatory); knowledge of SketchUp, 3Ds Max, or similar visualization tools is an advantage.
• Strong understanding of commercial materials, finishes, furniture systems, and construction detailing.
• Experience in BOQ preparation, estimation, billing, and vendor invoice verification.
• Good communication and presentation skills for client and internal coordination.
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.

Preferred Candidate Profile:

• Experience in office, retail, corporate, or hospitality interiors.
• Ability to handle multiple commercial projects simultaneously.
• Willingness to visit project sites and coordinate with execution teams.
• Organized, proactive, and deadline-oriented.
