Layout Engineer (Tekla Modeler)

• The candidate must possess extensive experience in TEKLA modeling, along with deep technical expertise in the steel domain, preferably within power plant industries.
• Proven proficiency in Tekla Structures software, including skills in modeling, detailing, and clash detection.
• Hands-on experience in preparing fabrication, erection, and general arrangement (GA) drawings for steel structural members and miscellaneous structural components such as handrails, gratings, ladders, and cladding.
• Essential knowledge of SPR/SP3D and AutoCAD software.
• Ability to understand and interpret technical specifications and project requirements.
• Familiarity with relevant industry standards and codes related to power plant structures.
• Experience working within a Tekla-based workflow to detect and resolve clashes among structural, mechanical, and piping components using tools like SP3D.
• Collaborate effectively with civil, mechanical, piping, and electrical teams to ensure seamless integration of structural components into the overall plant design.
• Proactively identify and resolve potential clashes between various building systems within the 3D model.
• Maintain clear and effective communication with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders.
• Strong ability to interpret engineering drawings, P&IDs, and mechanical layouts.
• Self-motivated, a team player, and capable of working independently with minimal supervision.
