Job Summary

We are looking for an enthusiastic and hands-on Production Technician to manage and support daily operations of our 3D printers, CNC machines, and laser cutting/engraving systems. This is an entry-level role ideal for someone who is eager to learn digital fabrication, prototyping, and small-batch manufacturing.

Key Responsibilities

Machine Operation & Maintenance

• Operate and monitor 3D printers (FDM/SLA), CNC machines, and laser cutters
• Perform basic machine setup, calibration, and routine maintenance
• Identify and troubleshoot basic machine errors and print/cut issues

Production Support

• Prepare files for printing, cutting, and machining
• Load materials, remove finished parts, and perform basic post-processing
• Ensure proper labeling, sorting, and storage of parts
• Maintain production logs and job tracking

Quality Control

• Inspect finished parts for defects, accuracy, and finish
• Follow standard quality and safety procedures
• Report any production issues immediately

Workspace & Inventory

• Maintain a clean and organized workshop
• Track material usage and notify when stock is low
• Assist in packing and dispatch preparation if required

Required Skills & Qualifications

Must-Have

• Basic understanding of 3D printing, CNC, or laser cutting (academic/projects acceptable)
• Willingness to learn and work with machines
• Attention to detail
• Basic computer skills

Good to Have (Not Mandatory)

• Familiarity with software like Fusion 360, Cura, PrusaSlicer, LightBurn, or similar
• Basic mechanical or electrical knowledge
• Experience with hand tools and workshop equipment
