Network Security Engineer

Key Responsibilities

Configure, manage, and troubleshoot Cisco Meraki security appliances and switches.

Deploy, configure, and maintain FortiGate firewalls.

Implement firewall policies, NAT, VPN (Site-to-Site & Remote Access), and security profiles.

Monitor network performance and security incidents.

Handle LAN, WAN, and Internet connectivity issues.

Perform firmware upgrades, backups, and configuration audits.

Manage VLANs, routing, and network segmentation.

Support network security compliance and best practices.

Coordinate with internal teams and clients for issue resolution.

Prepare technical documentation and network reports.

Required Skills & Qualifications

3-5 years of hands-on experience in Network & Security.

Strong experience with Cisco Meraki Dashboard.

Strong experience with FortiGate Firewall (FortiOS).

Knowledge of:

Firewall policies, NAT, IPS, Web Filtering, Antivirus

VPN (IPSec, SSL VPN)

Routing (Static, OSPF, BGP - basic)

Switching concepts (VLAN, STP, Trunking)

Good understanding of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and networking fundamentals.

Experience in troubleshooting production networks.

Familiarity with security standards and best practices.
