Job Description
- Patient Assessment: Taking patient histories, performing physical exams, and monitoring vital signs (pulse, temperature, blood pressure).
- Care Planning & Implementation: Developing and delivering individualized care plans, including administering medications, treatments, and wound care.
- Collaboration: Working with physicians, therapists, and other staff to coordinate care and make treatment decisions.
- Patient Education: Informing patients and families about health conditions, treatments, and preventative care.
- Documentation: Maintaining accurate and up-to-date patient records, often using electronic health records (EHR).
- Emotional Support: Providing comfort, guidance, and support to patients and their relatives during stressful times.
