Planning And Billing Project Engineer

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and update project schedules and work plans for fabrication and construction activities.
• Track daily and weekly progress at the site and compare it with planned targets.
• Identify delays or issues and coordinate with site and project teams to keep the work on schedule.
• Take site measurements and prepare client bills/invoices as per drawings and contract terms.
• Check and verify supplier and subcontractor bills based on actual work done.
• Maintain records of quantities, work orders, and material usage for each project.
• Prepare and submit progress and cost reports to management on a regular basis.
• Coordinate with clients, consultants, site engineers, and the accounts team for bill approvals and payments.
• Keep all billing, documentation, and schedule updates accurate and properly filed.
• Support management in cost control, cash flow planning, and project monitoring.

Qualifications & Requirements:

• Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
• Experience: 3–5 years of experience in planning and billing in mechanical construction projects 
• Software Skills: AutoCAD, MS Excel (advanced)
• Soft Skills: Strong analytical, numerical, and communication skills; ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
