Production Engineer

Core responsibilities

• Team management: Supervise and guide production staff, including hiring, training, and coaching, to ensure tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
• Production planning: Develop and manage production schedules to meet demand, allocate resources like materials and equipment, and ensure timely delivery.
• Quality control: Conduct regular inspections and quality checks to ensure products meet company and customer specifications, and implement corrective actions when necessary.
• Safety and compliance: Ensure all production activities comply with company policies, health and safety regulations, and other legal requirements. This includes conducting safety inspections and providing training.
• Process improvement: Monitor production processes and equipment performance to identify inefficiencies, suggest improvements, and implement solutions to boost productivity and reduce costs.
• Record keeping and reporting: Maintain accurate records of production activities, inventory, and labor hours, and prepare reports for management.
