Purchase Executive

Job Title: Purchase Executive

Job Summary:

The Purchase Executive is responsible for managing procurement activities, vendor coordination, and purchase data analysis. The role requires strong advanced Excel skills for tracking purchases, analyzing costs, inventory management, and preparing MIS reports to support informed decision-making.

Key Responsibilities:

 Source and negotiate with vendors for materials and services

 Prepare and process purchase orders (POs) as per requirements

 Track purchase orders, deliveries, and vendor payments

 Maintain accurate purchase records and documentation

 Analyze purchase data using Advanced Excel (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, IF formulas, charts)

 Prepare MIS reports for management (cost analysis, vendor comparison, stock movement)

 Coordinate with stores, production, and accounts departments

 Monitor inventory levels and plan timely procurement

 Resolve vendor discrepancies related to quantity, quality, or pricing

 Ensure compliance with company procurement policies

Required Skills & Competencies:

 Strong negotiation and vendor management skills

 Advanced Excel skills: Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, HLOOKUP, SUMIFS, IF, dashboards

 Data analysis and reporting skills

 Knowledge of ERP / SAP / Tally (preferred)

 Good communication and coordination skills

Educational Qualifications:

 Graduate in Commerce / Business Administration / Supply Chain

 Advanced Excel certification (preferred)

Experience:

 1–4 years of experience in purchase or procurement

 Experience handling data-intensive purchase operations
