Purchase Executive

Job Title: Purchase ExecutiveCompany: Induskart Engitech LLPLocation: Makarpura, VadodaraDepartment: Purchase / Supply ChainReporting To: Purchase Manager / Operations HeadJob Summary:The Purchase Executive will be responsible for sourcing, negotiating, and procuring materials and services as per company requirements. The role ensures timely availability of quality materials at competitive prices and maintains strong vendor relationships.

• Key Responsibilities:Identify and evaluate suppliers based on price, quality, and delivery terms.
• Prepare and issue purchase orders as per approved requirements.
• Negotiate prices, payment terms, and delivery schedules with vendors.
• Maintain records of purchases, pricing, and supplier information.
• Coordinate with stores, accounts, and other departments for material requirements.
• Follow up with suppliers for timely delivery of goods and documentation.
• Assist in vendor development and maintaining an approved vendor list.
• Ensure materials meet quality and specification standards.
• Support audit and compliance requirements related to procurement.
• Required Skills and Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Mechanical / Industrial Engineering / Supply Chain Management.
• 1–3 years of experience in purchase or procurement (preferably in trading or engineering industry).
• Good knowledge of procurement processes and vendor management.
• Proficiency in MS Office and ERP systems (if any).
• Strong communication and negotiation skills.
