Service Engineer

1. Installation & Deployment

· Installation of GPS tracking devices, fuel level sensors, MDVR/vehicle camera systems, panic buttons, RFID readers, and temperature sensors.

· Proper wiring and fitting inside vehicles including cars, trucks, buses, and heavy equipment.

· SIM card installation and network configuration.

· Testing device connectivity with server/software.

· Calibration of fuel sensors.

2. Maintenance & Troubleshooting

· Diagnose device issues such as offline GPS, inaccurate fuel readings, camera recording failures, and wiring faults.

· Replace defective devices or components.

· Repair wiring and connectors.

· Perform preventive maintenance visits.

· Ensure uptime as per SLA standards.

3. Client Interaction

· Visit client sites as per schedule.

· Explain device functionality to client drivers and operators.

· Collect customer signatures after work completion.

· Maintain professional communication.

· Coordinate with Support Team for issue closure.

4. Reporting & Documentation

· Update service reports in ERP or mobile application (daily reporting mandatory).

· Upload before and after installation photographs.

· Record serial numbers and SIM details.

· Maintain installation checklist.

· Report inventory usage to store or warehouse.

5. Compliance & Discipline

· Follow safety protocols during vehicle installation.

· Maintain company tools properly.

· Safeguard company SIMs and hardware.

· Maintain punctuality and professional behavior.
